Aims

• We know that children learn best when they are happy and secure. Learning is not only about academic skills like reading and writing, but about feeling good about yourself.
• In our school we aim to create a happy, stimulating, fun and inclusive learning environment, which provides equal opportunities for all.
• Every child is different and every child is special.
• Our children will be helped to achieve their potential academically, socially, physically and emotionally.
• We believe in a creative approach to learning where the children learn through exciting themes, brought to life with visits and visitors.
• We follow the guidelines of the National Curriculum and provide daily English and maths lessons.
• We want our children to be confident, well balanced individuals who enjoy learning and who can make a positive contribution to their community.
• When our children leave us in Year 6 we want them to be confident, independent and excited about their future.
